A few work in progress shots of the High Elves. Going to work on these some more this week, and then get ready for the new Eldar release. I'm really excited for a new book, and I really like a bunch of the new models.

Swordmasters test paint scheme

I got some High Elf models for my birthday and I'm working on my test scheme for how I want to paint them.  I'm pretty happy with how they are turning out, though there are a few things to finish/change.  I'm going to highlight the purple up to a lighter color and work on the whites a little bit.  Also need to figure out what I want to do for bases.  I kind of want to try and sculpt and cast some temple bases, but that will probably be out in the future.

Birthday loot and new game

For my birthday this year I asked for and got some Warhammer Fantasy models.  This is my first foray into the game and I'm really excited to paint some High Elves up.  At this point I don't know enough to really build an effective army, I'm just going for cool looking models at this point.  The stuff I got:
